are .ivs and .cap the same type of file in aircrack? And how long should this process take using 300,000 ivs in aircrack?

    .cap is Generic Network Capture Document
    and .ivs is ImageView Storage File
    An IVS file looks and acts like a hard drive. You can create folders, add, delete and move files around; anything within an IVS file that you can do on your hard drive. The files can also be password protected to control access.
    A number of different network analyzers use .cap extension to represent captured data which are then analyzed by the various programs. In most cases any of the programs can usually analyze the data in the file; however, each program will give you displays specific to that program.
