How Can I Monitor My Wireless Internet Access Point?

So I have a linksys wireless internet access point set up and secured. Several wireless laptops are using the point to connect to the internet. I have my desktop connected through the LAN to the Router/Point.
My question: Is there a way I can monitor those Laptops usage of my wireless internet through my hardwired desktop. i.e number of connections and bandwidth being used.
I use Wireshark to monitor my general traffic on my secondary screen. However something a little more cut and dried would be appreciated.

You could plug in a hub between the WAN and your access point and dump traffic from the hub. There may be some difficulty finding a 10/100 hub. Also some switches or routers can be configured to dump traffic promiscuously to a port or ports.
Beware that some items sold as hubs are actually switches.
You can tell once you get it by the way the lights stop flashing on the ports not being switched to.
What I want to know is.. if you re-assemble packet traffic from trespassers, is it wiretapping?
Is it advisable to allow other persons to use your access point?…
