How can I change the my network card (NIC) MAC address in Windows Vista Home Premium with service pack 1? I tried SMAC, TMAC, and MacMakeUp but none of them worked.

    Your network card would actually have to support MAC spoofing. Very few do.

    Every piece of networking equipment comes with a unique MAC address. Being able to change the MAC address eliminates the point of unique addresses. As previously stated most network cards can not have their MAC addresses changed. Routers, on the other hand, may have an option known as MAC address clone where it will relay a different MAC address as if it were its own.
