Regarding Aircrack-ng And Linux?

First you should know that im new to the Linux based OS. Second i managed to install aircrack-ng, and I was wondering how I install the drivers and how to apply the patches. PS i have a Realtek rtl8187b wireless card. Any help is much appreciated thanks.

    which linux you have? is very important say that….
    i can make work the rtl8187b y linux “ubuntu 9.04″
    the card dont work very well, but at least i can connect to the internet (only if i am near of the router, 5 or 7 meters)
    with aircrack….

    yes, is possible, i make it work, sometimes it work and then not, is wear that.
    i used airodump & aireplay…
    patch, i dont know how…
    install the drivers?
    in linux isnt neccesary that, they are included in the kernel, the rtl8187b is included in kernel 2.6.27 & get better in the kernel 2.6.28
    how to know wich kernel you have?
    open a terminal
    and write=
    uname -r
