Normally those come with your wifi device. If you are using an internal builtin card it should be loaded on the computer.
XP and Visita use there own management software called Zero Wireless Configuration which should be active on a machine with wifi.
If your wifi card did not have the software check the vendors website for the proper drivers and software.
Windows (2000, XP, Vista) and Mac OSX all come with software for that purpose. They’re not particularly full featured but they will serve the purpose you need them to. If you’re looking for programs to accomplish more… questionable, purposes (other then just making it work) I can’t help you
